macb mum Kelly sports her pink gloves to support the Race for Life's High Five Challenge

So, it’s time for us to introduce the first of our ‘macb mums’: busy women juggling their busy lives whilst trying to squeeze in some running, just for them.

We’ve asked these ‘macb mums’ to write a blog of how and where running plays a role in their lives.  They’ll talk about how they got into running, why they do it and what keeps them motivated.  Hopefully by sharing the highs and lows of their experience of running we can encourage others to take running up or get back into it.

The team at macb firmly believe that running brings great benefits for both mind and body.  It’s something you can do on your own or with friends and you don’t need fancy gear to take part, just a half decent pair of trainers and you’re off!

Over the coming months, our macb mums along with macb-sponsored Olympic athlete Eilish McColgan will use our blog to tell their various stories of running and why they’ve made it a key part of their lives.

So, here’s Kelly: a busy, working mum married to Alan, with 2 young sons: Ben and Jake.

Kelly will bring sunshine and positivity to the macb blog.  She seems like some sort of super-woman but claims not to be!  She’s organised, focused but don’t be fooled into thinking she never has times where she just doesn’t want to do it!  Kelly likes to enjoy life to the full and some recent events in her life have led her to the conclusion that life is very much for living.

Kelly inspires us and we hope she’ll inspire you too.  We’d love to hear your thoughts on our ‘macb mums’ blogs so visit us our Facebook page or drop us a line on Twitter with your thoughts.

Kelly’s first running blog will follow shortly!
