Firstly, congratulations to Eilish McColgan who secured her place within Team GB for this summer’s Olympics following her win at the Aviva 2012 Trials on Sunday.  The team at macb are absolutely delighted to be an official sponsor of such an inspiring young athlete who has overcome so much to get to where she has: first coming back from fracturing her foot last summer and just this week, fighting off an infection.  Well done Eilish, we’re with you every step of the way.

On the day we launched our sponsorship with Eilish, we spoke to her as she prepared for her first official macb photo shoot.  Eilish spoke to us about what running means to her, the changes she’s made to her lifestyle to improve her training, coming back from injury and what anyone who wants to take up running can do to get the most out of it themselves.  Enjoy!
